Sansa Clip+ unresponsive after Idle Poweroff w/ 3.9.1
« on: October 15, 2011, 01:14:53 PM »
I had upgraded my Sansa Clip+ 2GB from 3.8.1 to 3.9.1 recently.

After the first Idle Poweroff under 3.9.1 the device did not respond to power up attempts.

Connecting it to USB did not help. I thought it was bricked.

But after reading "FS#12298 - no display / fatal error on Sansa Clip" (now closed) I tried "hard power off" by pressing the power button >20 seconds. Then, the device could be powered up successfully.

The Idle Poweroff issue was repeatable, though.

Did a test today with r30755: same issue.

Had to revert to 3.8.1 to use Idle Poweroff safely.
