ipod video 5th Gen - Freezes when connected to Renault Audio Connection Box

Current Stable Release seems to lock up on connection (both off and on). Control wasn't perfect on previous build (pretty much as described on the Accessories Page), but it did work.

Any ideas?

I'll try to have a look at this one of these days. My car has a box with the same name at least, so if we're lucky it will behave the same.

Check the UsingSVN page on the wiki.  It will tell you how to get the source.

Hmm, no experience with svn so I might have to give this one a miss. Looks like I'll have to just hope somebody else can solve this one in the future!

I didn't have any experience with subversion before consulting that page either.  I found it (and the rest of the instructions on setting up a development environment and building rockbox) to be pretty clear.  If you have any specific questions feel free to ask. 

It might also be helpful to see if the current build behaves differently from 3.9.1.

There has been some progress in expanding the accessory protocol.  If you get a build environment set up, you may be able to use one of the patches in that task to improve the connectivity with your system.
