recent change to WPS engine?

I have a theme on the iPod Classic which has worked fine for quite a while, but I just upgraded from a late August build to r30622-110930 and the WPS no longer works (the SBS is fine, though). I can't see anything in the change log, or the WPS instructions that looks like it might have broken it, but maybe someone can help me out?

Why isn't this working any more?

create a text file named "/.rockbox/skin_buffer_size.txt" and put
"120" without the quotes as the only text in the file and reboot. if
that works then go to system > rockbox info and check the value of the
"skin buffer usage"

Ah, that does work, thanks.

Skin buffer usage is 45.1Kb.

wierd.... why is the ipod classic using 4K when the other colour targets are 80k?
