Sansa Fuze V2 - Rockbox installing problems

<< < (2/3) > >>

Dear Saratoga

thank you for the answer!

a) I've looked at the rockbox.info sheet of the .rockbox file at my Fuze and it's Version 3.9.1; are there perhaps more than one 3.9.1 versions (little bit unlikely) - or shall I try to install the 3.9 version?

b) there is a thread, which is dealing with an Experimental isanggon build [r27238] - could this perhaps be a realistic option to get rockbox running?

Thank you very much for caring!

All the best

No, you're running the right version.  Its probably something else wrong with your player.  Try checking the disk for errors, often if the file system is corrupt you'll have problems.

Hello,

I've checked the volume (with the WinTool) - everything seems to be ok.

Would you need more data for another hint?

Thanks!!

Seems ok? Generally it is or isn't.
Unless something has changed, WinTool does not scan ones disk for errors.  Use chkdsk.

Saratoga, I can't get rockbox to work on my Sansa fuze V2 either.  I'm using V2 firmware and a V2 bin, but the only rockbox installer I can find says its V1.2.  How do I know if I'm using a V2 build of rockbox you reference?  Where do I find that?

Thanks!
