The installer asks you which player you have.  Choose Fuze v2.

BB99:
Yes I have it set to that.  The auto installer runs fie with no errors.  I also tried it the manual way with no errors.  Either way, the files are clearly on the player, but rockbox does not start on reboot.  I have to assume its something with the bootloader, but nothing has worked...

Unless something has changed, WinTool does not scan ones disk for errors.  Use chkdsk.

@tpijag
there is stated 'no problems' by chkdsk and by the Windows-Tool --> The volume is ok.

@BB99 I've had this problem as well and solved it by using the manual for SansaAMS (http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/WebHome?topic=sansaAMS  -  if you are runnig it, don't forget to store the old/original Sansa- bin of the Fuze!).
Anyhow - in my case then the problems of this posting started (see above). Good luck!

Maybe this is my problem.  The V2 OF showing on my settings screen is the latest according to the sandisk page- 2.03.33.  But the zip file I have for the bin for rockbox install is titled fuze02.01.17, and the actual bin file (fuzpa) seems to be from 2008. So I'm assuming this is why my patch creates correctly but does not work.  The link on the Sandisk page for the OF is not the actual zip file, but a downloader.  the downloader is only giving me the options of a manual and a media converter.  How do I get the 2.03.33 bin file to create the proper patch???

Thanks!
