New to Rockbox, ?'s

Codeseven:
Hi guys, new here.

I play drums. Currently I have my Ultimate Ears UE 4 Pro IEM's plugged directly into my Yamaha MG166CXUSB's headphone port. I should have some kind of hearing protection from inadvertent spikes in volume, ie a Limiter. I also want available 4-6 headphone ports for others to use.

Questions: Is the Rockbox Limiter what I'm looking for? How does it 'limit', or put a 'cap' on volume spikes? How does it compare to the likes of something like a Shure PSM system with built in limiter? Would my signal chain be Mixer->Rockbox->Headphone Amp->IEM/headphones?

Sorry for all the questions.  Thanks!

soap:
No Rockbox device can do real-time full duplex (take an audio input, modify it, pass it through), sorry.

saratoga:
I think you're confusing Rockbox (the firmware project) with Rock Box (the recording devices company).

Oops! Sorry I meant this http://www.rockonaudio.com/limiter.php

...uh, nevermind....:)
