Fuze v2 3.9 & 3.9.1 Album Art not updating with added files

(1/1)

Weaves:
Hello,

I am using 3.9.1 on my v2 Sansa Fuze.  The initial install worked great and I have even tried various themes.  However, I just added some songs via MediaMonkey Sync.  The album art correct displays in the Sansa Firmware.  However, when I try to either Update Database or Initialize Database in RB, the album art is not displaying for the new songs.

All of the songs where encoded and tagged from my own CD's in MediaMonkey, so the process would have been identical for all songs.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Buschel:
1) Where do the covers not show up? In the WPS or in the pictureflow plugin?
2) Did you try to remeove the database files in .rockbox, restart and regenerate the database?
3) Can you upload one of those files?

Buschel,

Thanks anyway, but I figured it out.  In MediaMonkey there is a Device Configuration tab (Tools/Options/PortableAudio Devices).  From there I select the device and find the Device Configuration Tab.  In this tab, there is an option to Sync Album Art as a folder.jpg.  It was unchecked.  I checked it and added another file, the Album Art moved over correctly.  For the existing files, I just copied over the folder.jpeg.  After Auto update the Album Art correctly displayed.

I hope this helps others using Media Monkey.

 ;D

Thanks for your efforts!

Good to hear you solved it, and good to see you are sharing your experience here :)
