Looking for a Base to throw Rock Box on
« on: September 12, 2011, 05:18:19 PM »
So a buddy of mine is looking for a relatively large Mp3 player as he listens to podcasts a lot, definitely larger than 60 GB. I'm looking for something he can pick up that RockBox can run on that is basically as large as we can get it. I'm not past the idea of getting a larger drive to install on the player myself, I'm just not sure which models can support larger drives. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

iPod Video (5.5G) can support the 240GB Toshiba ZIF HDD (as well as some other ZIF HDD).

Parts are plentiful.
