Sansa Clip+ power button help
« on: September 11, 2011, 09:12:15 PM »
While repairing my headphone terminal, I sort of broke the power button. The player is still functioning, but it's still powered on.

I can't quite remember if the unit turns itself on when plugged into a USB port. If not, would there be another way to turn it on without the power button?

Conversely, is there a way to turn it off without the power button? Perhaps a script I can write so I can turn it off via the plugins menu?

Thanks a bunch for any help.

I believe that it will power on if you insert USB.

To power off, you could always rely on Idle Poweroff.  You just have to stop or pause playback.
