Vorbis gapless not working on Sansa Clip+
saratoga:
Decoded it to wav with rockbox and foobar2000, and they're both exactly 976 080 samples long so it seems that the file is decoded gaplessly. If you're hearing a gap, then perhaps its been added to the file before you encoded it to Vorbis.
spazattk:
Interesting, thanks. Can I have you check a file I've confirmed has a gap when encoded to vorbis but not in the original FLAC version?

I just did that.
spazattk:
Well I haven't checked if the FLAC version of that song also has a gap. If it doesn't, do you have any idea why the vorbis version would have a gap? As far as I know, vorbis is encoded to be gapless by default isn't it?

Presumably whatever you used to convert it between FLAC and Vorbis added the gap before encoding it.
