Can't Remove Bootloader (Sansa e200)

When I try using the utility, it says "Disk is not a Sansa"  Hello, It is :)

Sam thing if I try to install bootloader.

what OS are you running?
did you tell rbutil which drive is the sansa?

Vista 32 Ultimate.

Not sure what you mean. I chose sansa e200v1 series, which is the unit that I have. That's the only correct choice.

I'm pretty sure it is not. Hello, you need to select not only the correct player but also the correct mountpoint aka drive letter. :)

Please post the output of the Help / Troubleshooting / System Trace dialog after the error occured. Experience shows that the common error is choosing the wrong mountpoint (which that will help to reveal)

UPDATE:

After removing the rockbox folder from the sansa in windows, I was able to uninstall RB and the bootloader using rbutility.

I then successfully did a complete reinstall only to get perpetually stuck on the "scanning disk" screen.
