Hello all
I have recently updated the bootloader on my H120, along with the RAM and ROM, in order to allow me to add a 32GB Compact Flash card to my player.
The actual device works fine and shows 29.8GiB of storage from the Compact Flash card, with all files accessible inside the player.
The problem is that the device is unable to connect over USB at all. Though the USB picture comes up, the device never appears under Windows 7 with the Compact Flash card. The device also experiences the ATA error: -80 if booted when plugged in via USB.
According to a bug report closed over a year ago, the ATA error at least has been solved over a year ago by an updated version of the bootloader in the SVN:
http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/9642The problem is that V7pre4 is dated from February 2008 and does not therefore include any fixes from the last 3 years.
Is there any chance of the bootloader being updated for the iRiver H120 so as to solve issues like these?
Alternatively, is there a newer, pre-compiled version of the bootloader for the H120?
Thank you in advance for any assistance here!
