Support for new file extension?
« on: August 21, 2011, 03:01:09 PM »
I have installed Rockbox on my Sansa Clip+. It's fantastic, thanks to all the developers.

Now I want to playback files with the extension *.aud. These are Radio-MP2-files from my Satellite-Receiver. When I rename the files to *.mp2, I can playback them. But the dayly renaming is a plain.

Is there a possibility to configure that *.aud files are treated to be *.mp2 files and played back?

this is easy to do if you want to support your own build, but because .aud isnt a standard extension for mp2 we wont add it to the official source

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
