Rockboxed Ipod and Pure i-20 dock with digital out, will it work?

Hey guys,

i want to buy pure i-20 dock for ipod. http://www.pure.com/products/product.asp?Product=VL-61429&Category=Dock
now im listening only to flac files. i want to get better quality on my home hi-fi stereo.
pure i-20 dock takes the digital signal from ipod and converts digital to analog with his own DAC, does anybody know, will it work with Rockboxed version of ipod?

I just borrowed the Pure Dock i-20 from a friend, and unfortunately it does not work with my 5th Gen 30 gig iPod with rockbox 3.9.1 It thinks its plugged into a pc and switches to the file management mode, which you can't play music from. So far I haven't found a way around this :(

Actually I did some digging in the Pure website, and the gen 5 iPod is not supported by the i-20.

So while your suggestion did work for getting the iPod to dock without going into PC mode, it still did not function. I have no idea why the Pure i-20 wouldn't support the Gen 5 iPod, its one of the most popular models...

Guess I will have to look elsewhere. Thanks anyway though!
