Sansa Clip + Music not appearing under windows

Hi,

I have a clip + on rockbox, and I have a sd micro card. Both the card and device show up in windows but the music on the device does not show up in the MUSIC folder. The music is definitely there as it appears and plays on the  clip, and right clicking properties on the device shows the space being taken up.

Any idea on how to fix this? I've tried on 2 computers on windows 7 and vista.

If you add music in MTP mode you can't see if from MSC mode.  Its possible your tracks were added with the opposite mode as you're now using.  You can try switching USB modes in the sandisk firmware, deleting the songs that appear, and then readding them in MSC mode.

Thanks for the tip. I formatted, but to avoid this error in the future, should I stick to one of the two modes?
