How to start "EQ Mode" on Clip+
nstarz:
I need a little help, I like the EQ on Clip+ and just installed Rockbox. I read and search the manual, but all I can find are EQ settings. How do I turn on to watch the cool looking flickering EQ animations?
Before Rockbox, I just press the middle button. I am using the DFKT Minimum Clip theme.

Hello nstarz,
go to plugins->demos and select fft.rock. I think this is what you were looking for. It's like you press the center button in the original firmware on your clip, isn't it?
It's a plugin that was quite recently added to rockbox. It's interesting, but I couldn't find it in the manual, but the Flyspray task is here: http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/10065
If you press the home button, the left or right button, or the center button during running this plugin, you can change the look and the behaviour of the spectrogram.
Hope that answers your question.
Greetings

Eq isn't something you can look at, it's a sound effect. You probably want a spectrum analyzer.
nstarz:
Thanks cereal_killer. That's similar to what I was looking for. Is there one that is similar to the sansa's version?
It looks similar to the screen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqcSYFvjoNM&feature=player_detailpage#t=118s .
Thanks saratoga, at 1 in the morning, I thought it was right.
nstarz:
--- Quote ---Rockbox has a dual-boot feature. To boot into the original firmware, press and hold the
Left button while turning on the player.
--- End quote ---
In the mean time I will use the original firmware also.
Is there a place to request a plugin for Sansa's "spectrum analyzer"?
