Increasing number of EQ bands?
« on: August 09, 2011, 01:23:52 PM »
Greetings,

I've been using Rockbox on my iPod Video 5.5g since 2007, but i've only just joined the forums.

One question though: in some other topic i've read that by some modifications to the source code, one could increase the number of EQ bands.

Failing that, is there some way that the high-shelf and low-shelf bands could be (optionally) turned into peaking filters?

I might be alone in this, but there's some "audio surgery" that some of my 'phones could really use...

I've seen people hack the EQ to have more bands, but off hand I don't know where the code is to do that.  You could check google, I'm sure someone has posted it somewhere.
