Are the USB cables for Fuze V1 & V2 compatible..?

think i'm posting in the right place, apologies if not. i did search for this answer, honest! :)

in short, i've just replaced my V1 with a V2 and am wondering if the cables, or rather the pinouts, are compatible between the two hardware versions? given that my V1 was fried by it being plugged into a mis-wired (grrr!) USB port, i'm reluctant to repeat the tragedy but it would be some consolation if i had a spare of these cables.

Yes they are.  Theres actually only one Sandisk dock connector, so the cables work on all players that use it (e200, fuze, etc).

ah, that's great news. i kinda thought that might be the case as Sandisk don't make any differentiation between the two versions for sales purposes, nor do any sellers. and it would be the dumbest thing to suddenly change the pinout for a transparent hardware revision! i wouldn't have been so paranoid if i hadn't fried my previous one.
