[SOLVED] Sansa clip+: stuck at a song that is constantly repeated

Hey everybody,

I used the current Rockbox version and was really happy until the "Next"-button stopped working in the "Now playing" screen. I can use it as "fast forward" by holding it pressed, but I can't change to the next song any more. Every time I press "Next", it shows the same song at 0:00 but continues playing equally.


I have other songs in the playlist and I did not change any setting.

I tried the stable version as I thought that it might be a bug in the current version, but the error remains.

Any suggestions how to fix ist?

The button works as it should when navigating through the menu, database etc.

You've probably enabled the party mode setting, or maybe prevent track skipping:

thanks for the suggestions, but both options are not activated.

I noticed that Rockbox is even repeating the single song that is played, although I it's supposed to play all the songs on the device.

I changed the subject accordingly.

This is embarrassing.

Yes, it was enabled and it was the reason for the "bug" I encountered.

You can change the thread title...append "[SOLVED]" to it (or similar), while you're at it you could also lock the thread since you initiated it (spam bots like to post to random threads which can resurrect old threads from the grave from time to time ).

I didnn't find the option to lock the thread.

I hope the spam bots are smart enough not to post in a solved thread.
