Folders not showing in Rockbox on Clip+, can't access music
remn:
I recently installed Rockbox 3.9 on my Sansa Clip+. I transfered my music files in a number of folders with different names, but when I browse folders in Rockbox to find them none of them show up. I read the entire manual, and I made sure I was in MSC mode when I transfered the files from my computer. I know the files are there because I can access them when in boot into the Sansa OS instead of Rockbox. Any ideas?
Llorean:
I think the Clip+ may hide some folders, so if you've put it inside those it may be hard to find without setting Rockbox to show all files, rather than the default of supported only, which lets hidden folders be hidden.
remn:
I put the folders in the /.rockbox folder, as the manual said to do.
Chronon:
Can you point out where you read this? I'm quite sure it says to put them anywhere but that location. If you really want them in this location then you will need to change the "Show files" setting to All. Also, if you want to use the database, you will need to remove the database.ignore file inside of the .rockbox folder.
It will be easier for you if you put the files elsewhere.

Quote from the manual:
>>Files may be placed wherever you
like on the player, but it is strongly suggested not to place them in the /.rockbox folder.
