Database building on the host machine
« on: July 23, 2011, 11:31:36 AM »
Man, I’ve been sitting here waiting for my tiny little Clip+ to build its database for like ever. Is there any support for building the database while the device is connected to a computer? People could even write plugins for music player software to handle it automatically. That’d be pretty swell, huh?

Check this thread:

Of course, anybody is free to write plugins for other programs that can generate Rockbox database files.  However, I'm not aware of anything like this yet.  It also doesn't quite seem like a feature idea for Rockbox.
