Sansa Fuze v2- Music Folder

Hello, 

I just recently put Rockbox on my Sansa Fuze v2.  I noticed that the manual stated I should put the music files in the rockbox directory.  However, they were already in the original firmware folder.

Does it make a difference if I just move them to the rockbox directory, or: would I get any benefit (playback, sound, etc) if I deleted the original music and transferred directly to the rockbox directory via Media Monkey?
