I have found no option to accept 3rd party apps.

Settings -> Security -> Unknown sources

I set it to accept unknown sources. I dragged the 1280x800 apk. file to the nexus. How do I get it to install? Should i drag it to any special folder on the Nexus?

Copy it to any folder you wish, then open it through a file manager. You'll be asked if you want to install the app; do so. That's all! :)

It would not show up on the nexus until I used the nexus to download the latest build. Dragging and dropping from my pc did not work. Installed Rockbox playback is fine. Font is very small and no theme appears or album art? Is this normal for the 1280x800?

I see on the rashers daily build page that there is no theme available in this size.

Thus far, I haven't seen any WPSes for larger screen sizes on Android tablets. I managed to cobble together a very crude (read: slapped a backdrop and album art only) WPS for my Nook Color's 600x1024 screen, but I'll be getting a Nexus 7 soon, and I have so far seen zero WPS projects for its 800x1280 (or 1280x800, your choice!) screen.

With the various Android screen sizes out there, more WPS projects are badly needed!

Possibly. There are some 720x1280 themes around though, which should work reasonably well on 800x1280

Yes, I did see one that AlexP is working on, and I have no qualms about losing 40 pixels on each veritcal edge if it means I have a nice looking skin on my N7. :)

You may find a repository of very unofficial, simple, rough Android themes here in various pixel heights and widths:

All credit to [Saint].  I just modified his work.

Does anyone have a recent 800x1280 android build to share?

It's a little anal, but, you misspelled my name. ;)

Also, thanks for picking this work up, I haven't had time to do so for what seems like an age. It is certainly my intention to do so, but I have had to put aside a few projects in favour of real life and my health lately. I quite like what you've done with the placement of some elements in the much larger resolutions.

Nice work.

My apologies, the error has been corrected!

The work was pretty quick and dirty and just done to work out the coordinates for the x,y placement of elements.  Later, I hope to improve on these themes.

It is noticed that there have been no builds since December 29, 2012.  Any problems?

An 800x1280 build would be very much appreciated.

Thanks a lot for those builds. It's great to have my beloved Rockbox running on Android!  :)

Just one question, probably I'm too stupid to figure it out but how can I change the font color for the notification area entry? It's a dark-grey font on a dark-grey background on my device and kind of hard to read...

I'm going to go ahead and assume you're not able to compile your own builds (based on the fact that you're using someone elses pre-compiled binaries), and based on that assumption the answer in short is, "you can't".
