X86,
The ART runtime from pre-5.0 is a very different creature. In fact, you shouldn't be using it at all as an end user. That's why you had to specifically enable it from the developer options and it came with a warning in tow.
TL;DR: yep, we know it works on ART in pre-5.0, but that's not particularly interesting to us.

Hello Rasher. If you're still taking requests, please consider 2560x1440 (Galaxy S6).
PS: I'd like to mention I've been trying to compile my own 2560x1440 for hours now, and have had nothing but problems (I don't want to talk about them, since that isn't really what this thread if for).

As far as I can see, Galaxy S6 is android 5 or higher. That's very unlikely to work anyway.

Not just unlikely, it won't, period.
Sorry.

I'm running Rockbox (version a8758c9-151114) on another device (Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, 1024x600) with CyanogenMod 12.1, which is based off of Android 5.1.1. Rockbox seems to be working quite well on that device.
My S6 is running a stock 5.1.1 Android dristo (I don't like using the word "rom" to describe an Android system) so I would assume all would be well.
