Have a look at chapter "2.2.2 Manual Installation" of the manual for the Gigabeat.

You should be able to remove the bootloader by reversing the steps described there.

Rockbox Utility should be able to uninstall the bootloader on the Gigabeat F series. Unfortunately it turned out to have a but there. Just rename the old bootloader file back -- the manual describes how to install it manually, uninstalling is just the other way round.

Please don't create multiple threads on the same issue. It clutters up the forums, makes it harder to follow and annoys people.

If you do the file renaming you'll get the old system back. If not it's up to you to describe in detail what exactly you did. Reiterating what's stated in the manual isn't helpful.

If you formatted the disk of the player it won't find the firmware anymore, and it won't find its own firmware anymore. Which means the player will have a problem and not boot Rockbox anymore (since it isn't left).

Since you even failed to describe in detail what you did but obviously messed things up even more you should get help from someone that is more familiar with computers and can access it physically, i.e. a friend, a colleague or similar.
