HELP!!! IM STUCK!!!

PLEASE HELP!!!! i love hacking and im dying to get rockbox, but i dont know: what firmware to get, where to get it, how to get it, or even how to put it on the device . i have installed rockbox utility, but it wont install bootloader. i just got the sansa clip+ two days ago and have been trying to do this myself but i cant seem to figure it out, please help guide me through each step so i can install rockbox and get the most out of my sansa clip+ ! thanks in advance!

Please do not waste time using hard to read colors. Have you read the manual and taken the time to read all the prompts from the rockbox utility? It should be pretty clear as the devs have spent a lot of time on documentation. The installation docs provide you a link to sansa and I believe - the rockbox utility also provides information on needed firmware file.

By the way, the firmware does not go on the device.

What problem are you having determining what firmware to use - exactly.  I have found sansa to be very thorough with listing their firmware downloads.

Please, in the future, read the manual in order to know how to install Rockbox on any device, even if you are using Rockbox Utility. It'll help prevent a *lot* of headaches.

Rockbox Utility shows a dialog box with a link where to get it. Just click it.
