The new behavior (no track-number guessing) is already included in current builds, and will be part of the next release as well.

In that case, which version do I need to download in order to use it?

EDIT: Just installed the "latest build"(r30018-110619) and see no change in the Settings/Database menu. How do I turn off the algorithm?

Current build, theres a link on the left side of your screen.

Thank you for the link, Saratoga, but I already had it.  :)

What's more, the track numbers seem to have gone away. I guess it took time for the Database to update.
