Database on unoficial build

Just got rockbox to work on my ipod classic , I know it is an unofficial release and unstable, but I am having a problem with the database. I go to initialize the database and it finds my 1640 files and it shows it building database which should take 30 mins at max if i am correct, but it stays at that screen for hours. I even reinstalled everything in case i installed it wrong the first time. Am I doing something wrong or is it because the port isnt ready to be used yet? I go into debug then database info and

it says:
initialized: yes

RAM: 0/0 B

Whats up with that? It ran overnight and nothing changed at all!

You may have a file that triggers a bug in Rockbox's metadata parsers.  Try turning on Metadata logging (in the debug menu), rerun the DB init, and then check /metadata.log for the latest entry.
