Can't get out of Dynamic Playlist mode

Not what I was hoping for, to be honest.

There's absolutely nothing there that could explain the behaviour that you describe. At this point, my only suggestion would be to check the disk for filesystem errors.
You haven't mentioned what operating system you use, so I can't give specific instruction on how to do so.

I'm using both Crunchbang Linux and Windows Vista (for games and software testing) so, either way I should be fine.
