Sansa Clip+ and Cue Files

(1/1)

juantendo8:
I have a newly rockbox'd Clip+ and was ecstatic to see .cue file support. However, when I select the .cue file, I can only seem to read the titles of the tracks rather than play them. There also are no time indicators anywhere that tell me where one track begins and where another ends. I would rather not use a cue splitter as I have far too many single flac files with accompanying cue sheets and I do not entirely trust them.

Does the Sansa Clip+ have an incompatibility with flac and cue sheets or am I just doing something incorrectly?

saratoga:
Never used cue files before, but I think clicking the cue just views it.  IIRC you play the file itself and if the cue is present its used.

Chronon:
My experience matches saratoga's description.  Play the music file itself.  If a .cue file exists Rockbox will scan it and display skip points (i.e. tracks) on the progress bar in the WPS (also allowing you to skip between them with normal WPS controls).

corwin7:
It's not doing that for me, if I select the cue file I get a list of 20 songs that I can not select or play, If I select the flac I get one 60 minute song.

nick_p:
The cue file has to have the same name as the audio file, then you play the audio file and it finds it. You also need cuesheet support enabled.
