Start Rockbox when power is applied? (Clip+ in Car Adapter Mode)

Just put Rockbox on a Sansa Clip+...

WOW! What an experience! From so little to so much lol

Anyway, I'm hoping maybe I just missed it (I just now figured out how to get it to automatically resume playback when powered off and powered back on again via the power button like with the OF)... 

Is there some way possible to have Rockbox load instead of the Sansa OF when the unit is powered up through the USB jack with a cigarette lighter adapter?
This would really complete the Car Adapter Mode's functionality by having the player both come on and go off via the car's ignition, eliminating having to fiddle with it to get it started up in RB each time prior to starting the car.


Or is the USB driver thing I read something about with a Clip+ make for no way to have RB start automatically, even if it's just DC power with no data connection?  :'(

Its disabled for now since we don't have USB working.  Theres a patch for the pre-bootloader code on the mailing list that reverts that, but you'd have to compile mkamsboot with it applied and then reinstall a patched firmware to your player.

Patches and compiling are still a little above me, so I guess I'll have to live with it for the moment.

I don't s'pose you would know if anything is nearing final development would you?
