Clip V2 - no forward/back, battery drains
The0ne:
Well, after several failed uninstall and reinstall of rocketbox I've finally, just now, completely uninstalled everything and did a complete installation including the bootloader. Forward and backward is working properly although I lost all music files due to the reformats (have backups). Was a pain going through this to get the two functions to work but it's working now so no biggie.
The uninstall/install of Rocketbox produced the same issue even at default settings. Somehow, installing with the bootloader again changed it as I see nothing else that is different.

It was probably deleting the settings file that fixed it. Regular reinstalls won't do that, but formatting will.

Update:
Confirmed my player will lose the forward/backward feature during playback. It's happened 4 times now and has recovered by itself. Powering on/off the player does nothing. I've checked the skip and party mode and still at the same settings even though they're not working. Plus, after the previous re-install the battery life is back to normal now, lasting more than a week or more instead of half a day.
So far I haven't encounter this problem again. It might be the player though as it appears I'm the only one seeing this. In any case, updated so you guys have more info in case it's not the player :)
