Complete vs Minimal Install
« on: June 01, 2011, 10:27:56 AM »
I would like to see the detail differences between the "Complete" vs. the "Minimal" install.  Is there a link to documentation on the web site that spells out the difference.

No. The documentation is the code.

The difference is rather simple: minimal installs the minimal parts required to run Rockbox. That usually is the bootloader and Rockbox itself. Complete installs all optional parts in addition. That depends on the playet as well but usually is the fonts package, the doom game files and it opens a dialog to install themes.

The manual might have some details on this but I'm not sure. Just check it.
