bsliver:
For 5th Gen Video Ipod (80GB), it is easy to upgrade to 240GB as the Toshiba Drive (http://www.redirectmarketing.org/240GB-Toshiba-ZIF-4200RPM-8MB-8MM-18-Hard-Drive-MK2431GAH-MK2431GAH-NB.htm) is exactly the same size as the 80GB 1.8" ZIF Drive (8mm dual platter). For later Gen iPod Classics (single platter 5mm drives) the 240GB will not fit as they are thinner- maybe modding the rear panel will work but tricky/risky.

You need the drive, some iPod opening tools and a helpful website (http://www.ifixit.com/Device/iPod_5th_Generation_%28Video%29).

Happy modding!
