Post-Rockbox: My Fuze v2 Now Won't Talk to My PC

I don't believe USB works in Rockbox yet on that player. You should only attempt USB while booted into the original firmware.

yapper:
Turn the Fuze off, then turn it on while holding down <<. This will cause it to boot into the Sansa firmware. Wait until "Refreshing your media" completes, then go to Settings, System Settings, USB Mode and select MSC. You should be able to connect it to your PC and see the Sansa get assigned a drive letter.

To get back to Rockbox, turn the Sansa off then back on (without holding <<).

I was able to boot into the Sansa firmware and all was well. I'm fairly illiterate when it comes to this stuff and I drown in the details.

I really appreciate the specific, detailed instructions...
