WavPack + CUE playback issue
« on: May 17, 2011, 02:58:56 PM »
Hello.

I'm having problems with proper cuesheet support on Ipod Video.

I have a CDDA ripped to single WavPack file with cuesheet.

Every track has INDEX 00 and INDEX 01 specified in a cuesheet. Depending on a track there is 3-5 seconds of difference (pregap) between them.

What I would expect from playback software is to enable me to navigate through file using INDEX 01 values.

However, Rockbox instead provides two index points for each track.

The first one is based on INDEX 00, though inaccurate and shifted "to the left" by couple of seconds so that it points to place before pregap.

The second one is based on INDEX 01, though inaccurate and shifted "to the right" by couple of seconds so that it points to place after the beginning of music.

When switching tracks through 'Browse Cuesheet' the above pseudo-INDEX 00 value is being used.

So far I've noticed this behavior only with this single file. FLACs with cuesheets seem to be OK in that matter.

Can someone clarify this for me?

Regards
