Audio filters and volume control

(1/1)

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot in the forum, but are there any sort of analog audio filters available for Rockbox? By that, I mean filters that simulate tube amps, vinyl, etc. for a more analog sound.

Also, is there a way to get more steps out of the volume control? I always seem to find myself at a level that's either slightly too loud or slightly too soft.

You didn't mention a player,  but probably not.  Usually we expose the most of 1dB and whatever the hardware is capable of.

Thanks, saratoga.

By "no," do you mean it's not possible, or that it does not yet exist until someone makes such a filter?

I was mainly referring to the Clip+. I've got a mini3, but don't think it's worth using with the Clip+ (for my tastes anyway).

Its possible to write filters for various effects, but we do not have any.
