Rockbox for Archos 5/48?

Keep in mind that the Archos 5 and 48 run Android 1.6.  I don't know if the current RaaA stuff wants Android 2.x.

Presently, it will run on Android 1.6...though there has been some talk of dropping out 1.5/6 compatibility to another branch so that development can continue on the 2.1+ devices without the added complexity of compatibility code.

I saw on openaos.org that they have ported cyanogenmod to the archos 48 and will be releasing it soon, so maybe that modernizes things enough to run newer versions of rockbox.
