Sansa Fuze v2 has problem booting

My Sansa Fuze v2 hangs on the boot splash screen, unless I press the right wheel button less than half a second after I press the power button.

I have Rockbox v 3.7.1

Has it been working and it is a problem that has just started or are you just loading it for the first time?

First advice would be to install current updated version of Rockbox.

I had worked for a month or so, then just started hanging on the welcome screen.
I can't install the latest version of Rockbox unless in can be loaded off the microSD card.
