Wild speculation assuming you do mean rockboy and that you're suffering from the "usual" problem:

Are you actually quitting the plugin by turning the hold switch on and off to get the menu up and then selecting quit, or are you assuming (because you haven't read the manual) that you need to hard-reset the ipod to get out of it? If you don't quit properly it won't save.
