Clip+ Car Adapter Change

Hello,

I recently installed RockBox, and I am really excited to play around with it. I have a pretty elaborate and overcomplicated stereo installation in my car, but the center of it is my Clip +.

I wanted to download RB because of the possibility of having the Clip+ turn off after power has been cut to the unit, over a certain amount of time. Well that setting works fabulously, except that it makes the unit turning on automatically on power, disabled.

It was almost perfect, a handsfree power on / play and power off / pause - turn off....

Is there any way to get the unit to auto power on / play and upon power off / pause / turn off?

You'd have to edit mkamsboot to disable the check for USB when booting.  Right now its there as a failsafe since we don't have rockbox USB mode enabled.  Unfortunately, mkamsboot is written in assembly, and if you screw it up, its nearly impossible to fix your player so you should probably just wait for an official update.
