No Partition Found/FAT is Corrupted Sansa Fuze V2
« on: April 12, 2011, 11:12:55 PM »
I fanangled with my player(Live USB OS on a media player=no-no) which spawned about 8 partitions in total. I wiped and merged them into one, reinstalled Rockbox, and now, neither the OFW nor Rockbox can detect anything. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I tried reinstalling the OFW to no avail.

And what player it is?

Perhaps the OFW had a special (hidden, like on iPods) partition to store itself, and when you joined the partitions in one, you broke that hidden partition?

Also make sure you're formatting as FAT16 (or FAT32, depending on which player is yours).

Try the format option in the original firmware.
