Lag in playing/loading songs

Hey Guys,
lately, i've been observing that loading of songs on my Sansa Fuze in rockbox is taking 1-2 seconds more than usual.i initialy thought it is the "Resizing the album art" for a theme that is causing the lag, so i changed the theme to AR-150.
It did not change anything.so i went on and resized my embedded album art to 250x250 using Sanse Mp3 art sizer.
To my surprise, this fixed about 80% of song loading lag, but i still experience the lag once or twice every 5 songs.i dont know what is wrong.even updated to 3.8.1 from 3.8, but to no avail.

The above is
in conjunction to having lesser reported Buffer memory, currently 4.85 MB compared to 5.75 to 5.85 previously always available.
Please note, Database and Dircache have always been on, but this time with the 4.85 mb buffer, Database hasn't been loaded.

Does removing album art entirely fix the remaining occasional lag?

Ya, it does remove the lag when album art is completely removed.
And one thing i noticed, the problem exists from the point where Embedded Album Art had started being supported, also exists only for the files with embedded album art.
What do i do?

File a bug report that embedded art causes delays in playback, and then don't use embedded art until it's improved.
