OSX and replaygain

What's the best way to get replaygain tags in OSX? itunes doesn't write soundcheck data to the tags, so replaygain does nothing on rockbox. I don't mind getting an extra gui or commandline program to calculate and write the tags as long as it doesn't screw anything up for itunes. I want to tag MP3s and AACs.
