Talk about your device before it was Rockbox'd....any glitches? Ever had to do a soft reboot? What temperature range are you using the clip in? Car seats kill more electronic devices than most ppls are aware of....I was warm driving out to Colorado one year, but the dogs bowl froze over....I sold that suburban....

I'm just saying stop, look, listen and take the coat off.....it may be you or just the environment.

sideral:
You can use the original firmware to format the player's disk.  There's an option under Settings -> System Settings -> Format.

Post Merge: April 05, 2011, 12:23:13 PMi just replugged it back in and unplugged in.  the original firmware is back.  jesus christ.

Chronon:
As far as I can tell, you never removed Rockbox from your player, so it shouldn't be too surprising if Rockbox boots.

Rockbox boots the original firmware for USB mode.  Are you taking this into consideration?

edit: Improved some awkward phrasing.
