CF Mod Ipod 3G
« on: March 25, 2011, 12:28:35 PM »
Hey there!

I just upgraded my oldschool Ipod 3G 15GB with a 32GB CF card.

The adapter fit in well, Windows recognizes the Ipod and/or storagespace, ITunes does too. ITunes was able to "restore&update" it, put files on it, I installed Rockbox, all went fine.

BUT... the Ipod itself seems not to be able to access the CF card. It boots with the Apple logo and then shows me the folder icon with an exclamation point.

Does anybody have an idea what to do?
Thank you in advance!

I tried it with a smaller CF Card (2GB) and it works. The old Ipod  seems not to accept the 32GB size.
Maybe this comment should be included in CF-Mods tutorial
