iPod Mini 2nd Gen & R.B. v3.8
(1/1)

Hi there !
So, I was using a v3.5 Rockbox which was working fine.
I recently came back and saw that there was a shiny new v3.8 so I decided to give it a go.
Upgrade went fine, playback too.
Though, as the battery was really low, I plugged the iPod into my computer and used that "Menu" button to be able to listen to music at the same time.
Worked like 15 seconds. After that, sound started to be bad, well couldn't even hear the songs, but instead a creepy sound, like if you were on a bad radio frequency.
iPod was also frozen, only the screen light was answering and I couldn't even shut it down.
As the battery was low, I decided to leave it, hoping the battery would unload.
The next day (today), the iPod was answering again.
So I decided to do a complete reinstall this time, after a full battery charge.
Everything was working fine until I decided to restart it (because the playlist wasn't updated).
Then it went bad (again) : when I tried to restart it, I was quickly granted with a battery warning (it was at 100% before I shut it down) and worse, I couldn't even power on the iPod.
And of course, my computer doesn't see it when I plug it.
Is there anything else I can do rather than waiting the battery to unload to recover it (and downgrade) ?
Chronon:
Use the key combination to force it to reboot.

Wasn't working yesterday.
Though after doing it again for like 30+ seconds it booted properly.
Did another install as the utility was displaying 3.5 / 3.8 for the base version.
Everything's working fine now.
Chronon:
It can take upwards of 30 seconds sometimes.
I'm glad it's working now. :)
