Sansa Clip+ sometimes does not skip forward
(1/1)

Build: r29617
Release 3.8
Sansa Clip+
4GB MicroSD in use
I have just recently performed the full installation and am currently enjoying many of the new features RockBox gives my Sansa. Recently I have discovered that some of my music files (3 so far) will play, but will not advance to the next track and seems to make no difference if it is located internally or on the card. It will let me fast-forward and rewind just fine but to play anything else I have to pull up the database and select a new song to play. None of my music has DRM, the songs in question are standard MP3s, and they play and skip normally in the normal Sansa mode. I have tried re-tagging the songs and deleting/re-adding them to no avail. Re-initializing the database also fails to produce any results. Any advice would be welcome.

Does it matter what else is the folder with them? If you take some generic file and one of these tracks and put them in a new folder (such that theres just two tracks in the folder when you browse to it) does the problem still occur?

Okay, I took one of the non-working songs and put it in a folder with another song file that worked. I did this for both the internal and SD card. I set it to play one file (didn't matter which one), it would skip (even if it was one that didn't work before) to the 2nd file but then wouldn't skip anymore. I'm thinking that maybe it's reached the end of a folder with a particular file and thinks that's the end of the playlist or something. Going to try again but will re-initialize the database first this time. If it works, I will post. Else, assume it doesn't.
