iriver H320 - slight backlight flickering while aceesing HDD/SSD
(1/1)
polluxx2006:
hello,
i experienced a slight flickering when my iriver h320, equipped with a cf card, is accessing the data
on the card. at first i thought it would go away with a solid state storage but it didnt.
fact is: when the iriver is loading/buffering data, the light on both the main and remote unit is
flickering a bit. can anyone confirm this kinda issue?
thanks
plx

You were having issues with this player in September of last year, but the thread got sidetracked into littlenick's similar issues.
Is your battery runtime anywhere near what one would expect from a 2200mah battery (assuming that is still the one you have in there)?
polluxx2006:
hi,
yes, the last battery benchmark stated something around 20 hrs...
a bit of history: when i bought the player i found out that the battery is defective so i got myself
a new 2200 cs battery from licketysplitauctions. put it in -perfect :)
that was the first time i opened the player. a few weeks later i opened the player for the second time
to renew the outer hold-knob. and ive always been very careful and i am 100% sure that i didnt brake
anything inside. anway... after that i noticed the flickering (it could have been there berfore, im not quite sure). then i didnt use the player for a few months. after switching it on i still had those issues and i sent
it to the iriver service (here in germany) - they said that the battery is defective, offered me a replacement - too expensive, i thought and so i decided to do it myself and returned the battery directly to cameron
sino to get a replacement; bought myself a cf card, opened the player and changed battery / hdd.
and also with this brand new battery from the manufacturer (cameron sino) the flickering is still there... :(
strange, isnt it!?
any idea what could be wrong? or is this just normal?
