Rockbox for Cowon X7, when?

My Cowon X7 has the best sound, but a bad UI. So I'm asking for a Rockbox version for the X7. Any ideas?

Hi to everyone. (This is my first post)

I have recently bought a Cowon X7 and although the sound is excellent, the UI isn't very good - infact I think its awful.

Please can someone who has got a Cowon X7 and knows how to develop Rockbox somehow get a little curiosity for it and maybe (just maybe) start the initial ball rolling and develop a form of Rockbox for it. Then perhaps other developers can add to it and before long there will be a stable version running!

If I knew how or where to start to develop Rockbox I would, but unfortunately developing software etc. is way out of my technical knowledge - only having an IQ of 40! (or around that mark).

I think there is a growing number of people that would like Rockbox on it but aren't developers themselves and so have to rely on someone else to take the initiative.

These are the rockbox forums, pretty much everyone here runs Rockbox, which means they have supported devices.  If you want to ask people to work on the X7 for you, you should go find a forum where theres people with X7s and see if they're interested.
